Strait of Hlethe
The Strait of Hlethe (Norlensk: Hleðesund, sometimes also refered to as Hledesund or Strait of Hleðe) is the strait separating the North-West Passage from the Vinn Sea. The Strait of Hlethe is within the maritime boundaries of The Northern Lands, but provides a free and frequently used access to the oceans for the Vinn Sea harbours. This access is vital to the economies of a number of minor countries which border to no other seas than the Vinn Sea. Securing the continuity of this transport route is an important motivation for their membership in the Vinnic Economic Community.
