Physical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

https://imgur.com/a/AKeKCqh I generally plan to keep the present infrastructures. Blue = Rivers | Black = Railways | Red = Highways | Orange = Main primary roads | Green = "hills" | Grey = main urban areas

The country if mostly flat except for two small “hilly” areas (max. elevation 100-150) located next to two little peninsulas by the sea.

There are three main rivers, the southernmost one runs on the border with Atreisië when close to the sea it merges with another river and create a wetland before getting in the sea. The northernmost river runs entirely on the border with UL11f.

The climate during the summer months consists of moderately frequent rain, high humidity and temperatures, on average, around 18°C.

During the winter precipitations are less frequent but snowfall can easily occur, especially in the inner part of the country. Humidity is mostly high with fog characterising the night. The temperatures generally don’t exceed 5-7°C, the minimum temperature can drop up to -10°C in the coldest months and areas, milder on the coast.

Human geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The western side of the country is the richest and most populated area of the country. The capital city “Gronerdam” is located on the coast and counts around 500k inhabitants with some other urban centres around, most of them built during the years to cope with the demographic and immigration growth. The economy is based on the tertiary sector. The area is home to the port of Gronerdam and the International airport, the only commercial airport in the country.

The southern side of the country is a rich and developed area with most of its population living in the third most populated city in the country which counts approximately 200k inhabitants. There are several smaller villages well connected between each other and the other main cities via roads and railways. The agriculture and the primary sector constitutes a good portion of the area’s economy.

The eastern side of the country is mostly an industrialised area, home to the only nuclear power plant of the country. In this area of the country lays the second biggest city in the country which is home to around 250k people and several industries, which attracts commuters from all the country.

The northern side of the country is a rural area where agriculture is predominant. A railway runs close to the northern border and there are no highways. It’s relatively the less developed and poorest area of the country.

In general, Gronerdam is a very developed and rich country with a population of around 1.5 million and a density of around 350in./km². The economy is based on the tertiary sector: tourism, finance, services, technology… and it focuses on sustainability and circular economy. Infrastructures are dense and developed: the road network covers all the towns and villages; the highways connects the biggest town and villages with each other and with other neighbouring countries; the railway network guarantees a fast and efficient way of transport inside and outside the country; a urban tram network is present both in the capital city and in the second biggest city; intercity busses connect every village and city with each other.

The mapping style will be predominantly dutch.

History & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

Like the neighbour Atreisië, the country has always been mainly influenced by Lentië. The modern Gronerdam (country) before XIX century was part of Atreisië and became a vassal of Franqueterre as well in the late 18th century. However, due to its marginal location, the Franqueterre government has always had difficulty to influence the territory socially and historically. Consequently, Gronerdam declared independence from Atreisië and Franqueterre in the early XIX century, during the “Atreisian Post Terror Republic”. The short and marginal influence of Franqueterre can still be seen nowadays in a few villages of the south of the country which still predominantly speak Franquese.

In the country there are two official languages: Lentian and Gronermese, a Lentian conlang.
