At the independence, what was nothing more than a forester's lodge between Sagamreog and Laicin, near the already existing Sagamreog-Laicin airport, was chosen as an area for the new parlament building and future capital, in order to attract economic activity away from the Neberlian border areas. The new city was named Donbuskad (City of Woodlands) and is planned to have 75 000 inhabitants in the future. Although in reality, a little less than 20 000 inhabitants live fully in the city, most other inhabitants are temporary workers with a second residence in other places. | |||
