As in the real world, nations in OGF exchange embassies to facilitate international relations. This page is meant to serve as a country by country guide to building embassies. On the country list below, please add countries in alphabetical order.

Before building embassies

First… wait a bit

Don't start establishing embassies during your first week here, or even your first month. Make sure you're going to stick around for the long term. Take some time to develop the mapping in your country a bit, then reach out to others for embassies. There's no hurry. It's better to be the person who has no embassies for the first six or twelve months, rather than the person who builds embassies in tons of other countries and then disappears, leaving a worldwide mess for everyone else to clean up.

Embassy locations

When you're ready to start building embassies, you'll need to think about where they'll go. Sometimes they are focused in a certain part of the capital, but more often they are spread throughout the city. Sometimes it is a mix of both, with a number of embassies clustered in one part of town, but many others elsewhere.

• When building an embassy in someone else's country, respect their wishes (if any) regarding embassy placement. See the country list below for information on each country.
• When planning for embassies in your own country, it is recommended to avoid putting all of them right next to each other, unless there is some compelling reason to do so. For example most embassies in North Korea are located in a special compound, due to restrictions set by the country's government. But even in this case, a few embassies, such as those of Russia and China, have been built elsewhere.

Embassy sizes

Not all embassies are created equal. Some are very big, for example the US embassy in Berlin:

Others are very small, for example the Eritrean embassy in London:

The size of an embassy depends on several factors:

• The population and wealth of the country represented. Countries with larger populations and more money tend to have larger embassies.
• The population of the host country. Even if the country represented is fairly large, a small embassy will suffice if the host country is small.
• Degree of connection between the two countries. Countries with deeper connections (neighboring/nearby countries, countries with shared history, strong alliances, extensive trade or migration) tend to have larger embassies. They may even have consulates (like mini-embassies) located in other cities outside the capital.
• Size and cost of real estate in the host city. Cities with smaller buildings and higher costs will have smaller embassies. In crowded cities, many embassies are simply an office within some other building.

The size of an embassy is sometimes zero. Countries with small foreign affairs budgets (due to poverty or due to very small size) will typically have very few embassies. See for example see the lists of embassies for Iceland or Fiji.

Ardencia	South Archanta∈⊾	collaborative		No discussion on basic traits of Ardencian foreign policy has occurred. Please refrain from adding diplomatic missions in your country.		Saint-Armand, capital city of Ardencia is undergoing some reshape with the start of the Ardencian Collaboration. Some amenity=embassy nodes have been sprinkled here and there but are not meant to be used at the moment. This "rules" is to be changed at later stages.
Ardisphere	North Archanta∈⊾	Luciano		Sure - Ardisphere is a very active participant in the global community and has an oversized diplomatic corps relative to its size. Just let us know so we can record it in our diplomatic registry, or feel free to update the wiki page yourself.		Ardisphere's capital region is under complete reconstruction, currently. Therefore all current embassies have been "stockpiled" and new ones should wait. Thanks for understanding.
Aŭstrasuno Tero	Antarephia∈⊾	Alejandro24		Aŭstrasuno Tero is open to diplomacy and global cooperation. If you are going to build an embassy of Aŭstrasuno Tero in your country send me a message and feel free to do it.		Despite the capital city, Aŭstraĉefurbo, is still under construction, you can place your embassy in the following areas of the city: Malnova Urbo, Ponienta Ekspansio and Haveno Insulo, this zones are part of the old city, recommended for small to middle embassies; Nova Urbocentro and Nova Ĉerfubo, this zones are new and modern with towers and skyscrapers, accurate for big embassies and country shared embassies/diplomatic missions. None of this zones will have further massive editions, so technically are ready. Let me know if you're going to build an embassy for your country.
Azure Coast	Tarephia∈⊾	Crarji		If you wish to establish diplomatic relationship with Azure Coast, you are free to map an embassy in your capital, I only ask you to notify me and send me a message.		Tarjón is still under construction, but it has enough development to build an embassy. Contact me to indicate you the location if you are interested. The names of the tags must be in Spanish/Castellanese as follows "Embajada de (name of your country)". In addition, you can create a park, a square, a library, a house of culture, a binational cooperation office, etc., whatever comes to your imagination and if you need, you can edit the streets.

When editing the building, please keep in mind that it is a central area of a big city, so, not always a large building with a greenspace will be possible.

Cinasia	North Archanta∈⊾	Hilsonbergman		You are free to build a Cinasian embassy or consulate in your capital city. Just let me know. Or you can invite me to map in your country. For Cinasian Commonwealth Territories, which include Tan Kong, Yuethon and Tamón: these Territories only have limited amount of foreign economic and cultral offices. Please discuss with me.		You are free to map your country's embassy in Cinasia after I have been noticed. Please map your embassy in Citi (西堤) region. If you need to map a general consulate, I will map for you after noticed. Commonia	North Archanta∈⊾	collaborative		You are free to build an embassy of Commonia in your capital city. No permission is needed.		Commonia is free for editing by any user. The Commonian Confederation recommends placing your embassy in their capital Rebekan, while the Assembly of Nations Commonian Committee recommends not to. Nevertheless, you are free your embassy to build in any city with an airport and sufficient facilities catered to tourists.

Drull Free State	North Archanta∈⊾	collaborative		You are free to build a Drulli embassy in your capital city. No permission is needed since it is a blue country. Keep it small as Drull is quite a poor country.		You are free to build your country's embassy in Drull. No permission is needed.

Eelanti	East Uletha∈⊾	Eevee		Feel free to build an Eelandian embassy in your country. Send a message to Eevee after you have built it, so that I can have a look at it.		Please send a message to Eevee if you want to have an embassy in Suursaari. You can also say what kind of embassy you would like to have (size, location, shape...). I will then build it there myself.

Foreign embassies in the Eicarl capital city of Bestagen are located on the Botschaftenviertel (Neighbourhood of the Embassies). You are free to start building now, if you abide by the following rules: You may modify the water and the roads a little bit. It has to be within the Neighborhood called "Botschaftenviertel". Do not move the "Wasserschutzpolizei". Build beautiful and realisic. You may place public squares, Bus stations etc. Don't destroy other's works. Info: The Metro will be extended east. If you are building and embassy, please leave me a message with your name (obviously not your real one!) and your country just so that I can keep track of what is happening. Embassies are permitted in Huntington; most embassies are located near Tarephia Square. Embassies should be labeled in Ingerish/English. For larger nations or nations with ties to specific regions of the Federal States, consulates are also permitted after an embassy is established in Huntington. Goytakanya	East Uletha∈⊾	BMSOUZA		Please message me if you think is reallistic to have a group of goytakano refugees in your country, and we can think about a consulate or even simply a culture center.		As Goytakanya is a problematic place, not recognized as independent by all OGF-countries, rarely an embassy will be set in Bhagurah. Diplomatic and humanitarian missions can be set, but we need to talk first, and maybe it will be marked in some shared and simple building.
Guai	Antarephia∈⊾	Aiki		You are free to build a Guaiian embassy in your capital city. Just let me know (message me at Aiki), I will update the corresponding article accordingly.		Guai's capital city Pirindi is under construction but embassies have already been built there, and new ones can be on request (message to Aiki). Most of embassies are located in the fancy area north of the Parliament's hill, close to the hill in big townhouses or 3/4-level buildings, or close to the Seat of the World Food Aid Programme in bigger and more recent compounds.
Helvetiania	East Uletha∈⊾	julijahaller		You are free to build a Helvetianian embassy in your capital city. Please let me know.		You are free to build an embassy of reasonable size in Helvetiania. The embassies are located in the diplomatic area in the capital city Gentsch.
Iscu	East Uletha∈⊾	Lithium-ion		Iscu should not have any embassies world-wide - it is not officially a country, but rather an AN Territory. If you are mapping a nearby nation, you may choose to map a "defunct Iscuan embassy" - but please err on the side of caution, as it is likely unrealistic to have.		Since Iscu is an AN Territory, only large and/or rich and nearby nations should have diplomatic missions to it. Please contact me first before building your mission .
Izaland	East Uletha∈⊾	Izaland Terramorphing Committee		You are free to build a Izaki embassy in your capital city, or you can ask me to build it. Contact me in both cases (Izaland Terramorphing Committee).		You are free to build (or you can ask me to map for you) your embassy in two designed areas: Between the square Rosemane / Ekinðuka / Aguri 2-sa / Anagusa-Mukai stations in east Sainðaul Around Gundari-Kōwen and Nawadae stations in west Sainðaul You may also add a cultural centre, little memorial park, coffee shop or restaurant nearby. Kaoscha (Maessigerland)	North Archanta∈⊾	poweikao		This country does not suggest others to build an embassy on Maessigerland's behalf. Nevertheless, if one is really looking into strengthening the international ties with Maessigerland, one can send a message to poweikao.		The capital city of Maessigerland is still under construction and will be ready for embassies soon.
Karolia	East Uletha∈⊾	Sarepava		You are free to build a Karolian embassy in your country, just send Sarepava a PM saying you did. The microstate of Meridonia may wish to share the embassy as well.		Please send a message to Sarepava, and he will build your embassy in Säntjana.
Khaiwoon	West Uletha∈⊾			You are free to build a Khaiwoonese embassy in your capital city. No permission is needed. Remember that Khaiwoon is a small country so please don't make its embassy too huge.		This territory is archived.
Kofuku	Antarephia∈⊾	Huachachi		You are free to build an embassy of kofuku in your country. After that you can send me a message to know it. (Huachachi)		Just send me a message to me in order to know it (Huachachi). Remember that according to the relations and proximity of our countries the embassy will be larger or smaller.
Kojo	East Uletha∈⊾	Leowezy		You are free to build a Kojolese embassy in your capital city. No permission is needed, but please contact me so I can add your embassy to the country's wiki article. Consider the size of Kojo and the distance between the nations when designing an embassy.		I try to incorporate the embassies into a dense urban atmosphere; therefore I would appreciate it if you just send me a message, and I will build the embassy for you. Of course you are welcome to attach any "special" wishes regarding look, location or others!
Kuehong	North Archanta∈⊾	zhenkang		As Kuehong is rather new, I rather not have many Kuehongese embassies abroad yet. Just send me a message and I will build one for you.		Certain urban areas in Kuehong are now open for consulates/ liaision offices: Namthinhvuong: Claim any of the spots to build your consulate/embassy in the former diplomatic quarter. Message me if you have built an embassy in Namthinhvuong. Vang Ngat: Limited consulates/liaison offices are permitted to be built at any of the major urban areas on the island, such as O-man and Chung Nguoi. Send me a message and I will arrange a site for you to build on.

Layr	Antarephia∈⊾	Intergan		Currently, Layr isn't a strong country or likely to have broad foreign relations. Please contact me (Intergan) if you would like to discuss and we can see if you can include a consulate or a diplomatic office for consular services.		Please ask to build an embassy in Layr or I will do it for you if you like, this will help me incorporate your nation's embassy into the area I will place, thank you.
Lechia	West Uletha∈⊾			You are free to build Embassy of Republic of Lechia in your capital city.		This territory is archived.
Leresso	Antarephia∈⊾	geoboi		You are welcome to build a Yerevi embassy in your country, though I would like a message sent to me, Geoboi, once it is finished. Also be sure to include the embassy name in Leresso's native script by adding an additional tag for the building: name:yr=ᠮᢈ᠋ᠨᡃᡨ᠌ᠠᡴ᠌ᠠᡄ ᢇ᠋ ᡕᡠᡰᡝᠴᠠᠨ᠌		While the Yerevi capital of Aludres is still undergoing renovation, the core of the city is ready for embassies to be added. Lorredion	North Archanta∈⊾	Le Mathou		You are welcome to build a Lorredian Embassy, Ambassade de Lorredion in franquese, in your country. Though I would like a message sent to me, Le Mathou, once it is finished.		You are welcome to build, or use a building already built for your embassy in Rivador, near Place des Nations. Alcântara is (going to be) a big city and very urbanised, so, please message me and I can build one in a good place. An embassy of your country is absolutely welcome in Mauretia, and buildings are gradually being built. If you want to have an embassy in Mauretia, please feel free to ask. A plot of land in Iola or another nearby community will happily be granted for you to build on or to have one built for you. Please be sure to state in which city you prefer your embassy to be.

Neberly	East Uletha∈⊾	antoon		Neberly isn't the largest or most populous country, but still eager to have a diplomatic representation in your capital. So if you have some space left...		Neberly is committed to have friendly relations with other countries, and will be open for embassies. But it will take some time to get there as the capital Senford isn't ready for it at the moment.
Neo Delta	South Archanta∈⊾	deltanz		Neo Delta is a pretty recently established country and it is willing to improve its diplomatic representation worldwide. I would be glad if you could send me a message letting me know the embassy was built.		The fact that Neo Delta was recently created and is in the beginning of its formation forces its government to ask other countries to wait until the Neo Delta is further developed to receive your embassies. We appreciate your patience.
New Ingerland	Kartumia∈⊾	Turnsole80		You are free to build an embassy/high commission of New Ingerland in your country. Please drop me a note when complete so I can update the diplomatic register.		You are free to place an embassy in the diplomatic quarter of Kingsbury between the Durham Street, Exhibition Avenue, Deacon Street, and East Terrace. Niulutan-Riu	West Uletha∈⊾	histor (collaborative)		You are free to build an embassy of Niulutan-Riu in your capital city. No permission is needed. But please send a note to me, histor, that the Foreign Minister of Niulutan-Riu has the overlook. Niulutan-Riu is a small land and so the embassy can be small.		Just send a note to me, histor, and I'll build it. Looking forward to hearing from you.

You may build embassies in the capital city of Dura Ahn if you feel your country has a diplomatic interest in this small, cold land. They should not be too large, but as Dura Ahn is a planned city with a short history, and is therefore kind of empty, you can build anywhere you want in the city.
