Tidal map
Currents

This is a rough attempt at figuring out the major ocean currents. Obviously, this would all have to be changed once a new continent is brought in. They are roughly based on [1]
These would have implications for the climate of your country, if you don't like the consequences of a particular current, or if you don't think it is right, feel free to change it and we can figure out a justifcation later :)
I'd like to upload the svg format so people can update it themselves, but it is 4MB, which is bigger than the upload restrictions.
Until I figure out a way to fix this, we can work out the names here:

- A gyre that fills the Northern Ice Sea. This would be equivalent to the Beaufort Gyre. It should probably just have one name.

- Similar to the Labrador Current

- Similar to the Gulf Stream or Kuroshio

- Similiar to the Brazil Current, could possibly be combined with 05

- Similiar to the Brazil Current, could possibly be combined with 04

- Equatorial and Equatorial Countercurrents

- Similar to the California Current

Tidal map
Instead of adding a new wiki page, I placed here a first attempt of where tides are high and low. The map is similar to the real world map here: [2]
There are many details missing (especially around the new continents) so far, I took into account places of existing tidal power plants (Mergany and Zylanda, are there more?), there of course the tide should be high. If you wish some more places with high or low tides or have some other ideas, please let me know. --Mstr (talk) 05:09, 23 November 2016 (CET)
Tidal constituent: colors indicate where tides are most extreme (highest highs, lowest lows), with blues being least extreme.
