The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

AR060-03 - Montagne. French for Mountainside, since the province is beside a mountain.

Invest - The Noun Project.svgHuman geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Since people like living near water, the capital, Coto, is on the coast, towards Dimsdale in Kastichetshan. The TDH-1 has a junction in the direction of the tentatively named Stradworth leading there. Emptiness however dominates the rest of the province but there are multiple towns such as Rive, Valado, Resona, and Riche.

The economy is mainly based off agriculture and fishing. If Deodeca is in support of moving to green energy, Montagne is too.

Noun Project languages icon 105908 cc.svgHistory & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

45% of the population is Franquese, 20% is Ingerish, 15% are Franquese-Ingerish, 15% are immigrants from the FSA, and the remaining 5% are minorities.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL.

  • As a newer user, I'd recommend requesting a beginner territory first to hone and improve your skills a bit more before requesting a territory in a collaborative project like Deodeca. (Also note that the Deodeca project is overwhelmingly Ingerish, so a territory with 45% Franquese population is not a good fit in this location.) You're welcome to modify this application for a BG territory, and keep in mind that any mapping you do in a BG territory can be relocated to another territory once you've "graduated". --TheMayor (talk) 18:40, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Thanks, but is it possible to reserve this territory for me? And do I have to create a new wiki page to apply for a BG territory, or can I just edit this one? BX Off. Thanks for reading! (talk) 21:37, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
Territories cannot be reserved in advance, but if the territory is available after you've developed a BG territory sufficiently, you would be welcome to re-apply. Additionally, the aforementioned issues with context in the Deodeca project have not been addressed. As to creating a request for a BG territory, I'd recommend creating a new application for it: I'll go ahead and close this application, which will archive it and allow you to refer back to it in the future if this territory is still available at a later date. --TheMayor (talk) 22:33, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
