The islands will have a subtropical climate with temperatures similar to those of New Zealand's upper North Island. Much of the island will consist of rolling hill country and plains, with slightly taller and steeper hills roughly parallel to the north coast, and the majority of rivers flowing south from these hills. General plan.

Invest - The Noun Project.svgHuman geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The island will have a population of around one million, with the majority of the population located in two larger cities located on harbours on the north-western and southern coasts. Development will be focused on the western half of the island, with small farming towns in the interior and fishing and tourist towns on the coast. Outlying islands will have only small fishing or tourist towns, with some remaining completely uninhabited. The economy will be based primarily off agriculture, fishing, tourism, and some mining. Mapping will be done in the same style as used in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The island will be linked to the mainland by a bridge in the northeast at the strait's narrowest point, similar in nature to the Confederation Bridge between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Canada.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Primarily based as a mixture of Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. Overwhelmingly Ingerish-speaking with some remnants of native Archantan names, and small immigrant communities in the largest towns and cities. The state was potentially part of a larger territory in Deodeca's northeast but eventually split off as its own state.

Feather-core-check-square.svg Territory application approved
While I’m not wild on the name given the potential parallels with Adelaide, Australia, that’s only a minor quibble in an otherwise terrific application and plan. Approved.
As a reminder, territories in Deodeca are not independent, and extensive coordination and cooperation with other Deodeca mappers will be an essential part of the project.
