A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Olselen hosts a population of around 4 Million people. The largest city "Praxtelinna" hosts around 635,000 residents and a small ring of adjacent suburbs and a metropolitan population of nearly 1.6 million people comprising of over 40% of the population. It is located along the "unnamed River" about 20 miles inland. There are two additional much smaller cities, "Prescott" home to around 225,000 residents and the capital city "Oleana" which hosts around 165,000 residents Geneva also hosts a large FSA military installation. The rest consists of small towns and rural farming areas and mining facilities. . There are two major highways running through the state. (One East west connecting towards St. Jacobs) ( and one North South connecting to what is FS 11). One of the small cities would be located at this interchange and a river would run through it as well. The other small city would be directly on the coast and the medium sized city would be inland but on the river connecting to the lagoon leading to the ocean

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL.

I have mapped the "Torontarian Project area" in ex AR027. Though It is not perfect it shows the distance and capability of rural mapping that could go in line well with the FSA. I have also been working on Ardencia specifically the municipality of Islington's eastern coast. I have experience creating non grid cities with a North American style of mapping that would make the most sense of this region

This would be a smaller state in the FSA and by no means a big name player in the country. Though it would host a decent population and a medium GDP, I believe this would be a good fit for me due to my experience with North American style mapping. Additionally, I have been seeking an FSA territory for a while and I think this would be a good fit. Unsigned comment by The Torontarian (talk).

Two quick things:
  • To help us better visualize your plans, can you create a basic sketch of what you have in mind for the state?
  • The names "Cumberland", "Pasadena", and "Geneva" should be changed to things that don't have such direct well-known real-world counterparts.
As a courtesy I am going to place AR120-05 in "reserved" status pending the requested updates to this application; if the updates are not submitted within seven days, AR120-05 will be made available for other mappers again. --TheMayor (talk) 21:02, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

- I just edited the names, I will draft a sketch later today and upload it here.

As you develop your territory, be sure to keep it realistic. Here are some resources you may find useful for starting out: Help:Portal, Help:Making realistic countries, Help:Making realistic cities and OpenGeofiction:Site policies

Based on the changes made here and the provided sketch, I am approving your request. (As a side note, please note that Gilliad’s motorways don’t meet FSA standards for route numbering – “I-40” should be “FS-30”.) —TheMayor (talk) 16:58, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
