An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar)

Ogdalen will be inspired by the inland south, especially Tennessee, with some influences from Georgia and the Carolinas. Its climate will be humid subtropical, however it will be cooler in the mountains in the west and north. These mountains will be similar to the Appalachians, with the western mountains being Ridge and Valley, with several small towns in the valleys, and the northern mountains will be taller and more remote, however there will be a few small resort towns there. The eastern half of the state will be a hilly piedmont suitable for agriculture.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Ogdalen will have a population of around 4 million. There will be one medium sized city in the southwest of the state, Adamsville, with around 300k people. Otherwise, there will be another 100k city in the center of the state, and a few more 50k+ cities scattered across the flat part of the state, and many small towns in both the piedmont and mountains. Overall, the rural piedmont will be relatively densely populated, with the southeast being the most.

Historically, the state’s economy has been based on agriculture, however it was one of the more industrialized states in the area. Today, automobile manufacturing is the main industry, along with food production, some mining in the mountains, and a minor music industry in Adamsville. This has kept the state relatively poor, but in recent years many people have moved to it for its warm climate and low cost of living, and businesses because of its low taxes, and now it is undergoing an economic boom.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Being in the Federal States, Ogdalen's main language will be Ingerish. It will have a culture and mapping style inspired by the southern US, especially Tennessee and the Carolinas. Most native names in the state will be Cherokee or Seminole, with some minor Ojibwe influences. The state's name is an anglicization of "mountains" in Cherokee.
