Ember

Ember is a Federal States-based technology company headquartered in Esperanza, Cosperica, and was founded in 1979. It is known for developing software and selling personal computers (PCs).

Until recently, the company mostly produced silicon chips and semiconductors with a series of computers being released since 1991. Consumer electronics, such as headphones and speakers, were designed and sold in 2003 to enhance the company's profits and marked the starting point of further Ember innovation.

History

Founding

Ember was founded on April 26, 1979, by University of Cosperica-graduate Calvin Connor and Frutern University-graduate Owen Price in Silverdale. It started as a small store where Connor designed computers, and Price created them. The two had chosen Silverdale as a place to start since Silverdale had a low cost of living and was located in a silver-rich valley; silver is the best conductor, and cheap.

Collaboration with Ati

On July 19th, 2020, Ember announced the start of its collaboration with the Mazanic company Ati to popularize delivery drones. Ati is one of the largest companies specializing in robotics; in this partnership, Ember developed the necessary software and systems for the drones to work, while Ati designed and produced the drone itself.

Ember's first product was a limited batch of unnamed computers sold on an empty lot on Steeple Road.
