1770s

  • 1775: The Commission of the City of Saviso is established. 19th century

1800s

  • 1804: Auroa is established.

1810s

  • 1 January 1818: The slave trade is abolished in St Austell. While it is one of the first parts of the Ingerish Empire to outlaw the trading of slaves, the act of slavery itself is allowed to continue.

1820s

  • 26 December 1822: A slave rebellion erupts on a plantation south of St Anne's, Avalon. Word of the rebellion quickly spreads around the area, and by New Year's Day more than 200 slaves will have armed themselves and occupied the town.
  • 1 January 1823: The rebelling slaves declare the establishment of the "Free Men's Republic".

  • 4 November 1835: The first of a series of rebellions begins in Saviso. Initially calling for the extension of Ingerish political reforms to the colonies, it will grow in scope to call for much wider reforms, economic assistance following the end of slavery, and the granting of responsible self-government to the colonies.
  • 1 January 1837: The system of "apprenticeships" comes to an end in Cambria, with the last remnants of the slave industry ending with it.
  • 1837:
    • A report delivered to the Ingerish Parliament recommends the unification of the Cambria and St Austell colonies and the granting of responsible self-government. While a limited form of self-government will be introduced to both in 1839, it will be fourteen years before the report's recommendations are carried out in full.
    • Prihor separates from Cambria to form its own province.
