Reopening the TA305 application

Hello. Given the numerous suggestions that Taka and others had, I am going to leave it closed for the time being. There are plenty of things to work out than these minor details. Once you have worked in the BG territory and completed enough to correct the application, please message her—she can reopen it as well. Thank you. — Alessa (talk) 04:43, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

Oh ok, I will QUICKLY message to Taka right now! TheSeamonster (talk) 05:08, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

Maybe it wasn't immediately obvious from the way it was phrased in the application, but I'm fairly confident that when Taka said to edit more in your BG territory to build up the type of mapping and mapping quality you'd want to bring to TA305, she meant the type of mapping that would happen over at least a couple months, not over a couple of days. I don't think rushing Taka or pushing others to reopen the application this early helps your chances- for now focus on doing the actual mapping work in your BG territory and improving mapping quality, and then see where you're at in a few months, maybe like September or so. At that point if you've made progress your chances are probably a bit better. --Ernestpkirby (talk) 06:44, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
To be clear, territories are not held in reserve just because someone expresses interest in them. You still have a lot of work to do in order to fix up the things pointed out by Taka and other users in that region before the application would even be considered. In that time, things may have changed. There is no guarantee that TA305 will be the same as it was if you were to reapply. Other circumstances in the region may also change that may prompt even more feedback. Please be keep working on your mapping, as we want to see you get better. At the same time, please remember that TA305 may change and any future application you have for it has no bearing on its change. Thank you. — Alessa (talk) 02:27, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
