The State of Washotska, previously known as the Washotska Territory, is a state in the southwestern West Lakes region of Federal States of Archanta.
Etymology
Washotska is a loose portmanteau of three Kaniwayese words, one coming from the word for 'wide'; waˀsláti, and then the word for 'mouth'; atskalah, and finally the word for 'land'; ohwʌ́tska. The Uletarephian settlers understood these three words in unison were understood as the name for the majority of the Washotskan territory. They eventually formed into a phrase that was made easier to say by settlers and the name "Washotska" came into popular use.
