Apawiland, formerly known as Apawi Territory, is a state in the Mountain Region of Western Federal States of Archanta. It consists mainly of dense forests in the north, mountains passing through the center, and farming-dominated valleys in the south. It borders (clockwise) Tierra Alta from the north, Tejoma from the east, Riopoderos from the south, and Sierra from the west. It is sometimes referred to as the 'gateway to the west' as it's a transitional state from the plains to the mountains.
It is located between Jundah and Apricity, meaning that it includes few branches in the Great Western and Asperic Rail. Some railways include the main line Jundah-Apricity, Rush Valley Line, Wishzone/Wiçozani Line, and the Playa Gomez-Silverdale Line.
The name 'Apawiland' comes from Nakhewizic 'Apawi,' which means 'Sun.' This was proven logically as the natives used to and still worship the Sun as an important deity.
Apawiland was first settled by the now lost Makiyokipi tribe which settled on what is now Silverdale. 'Makiyokipi' means 'to be acclimated,' or, in short, 'to adjust.' They flourished due to the fertile land and the Regio River. Soon, Castellanese missionaries started exploring the northern half of Apawiland, starting missions and converting nearby natives to Christic. Some Castellan missionaries made it to the Regio River, but could not make any settlements due to strong native resistance.
Apawiland has a total of 13 districts,
