Compaglia (officially: Repubblica Compagliana, Ing: Compaly, Fra: Compalie) is a country in southern Tarephia. It counts about 10 million inhabitants. Its capital and main city is Venere situated in the center of the country on river Menange.
The country has two official languages: Compalian (80%) and Franquese (20%). The strong presence of Franquese in Compaly is a consequence of the Draband war with Broceliande (1899-1901).
Compaly is a parliamentary democracy, an elected President as head of state (Gianfranco Bernini since 2015). The country experienced a military dictatorship between 1935 and 1976.
Compaly is divided in 8 regions. Draband and Venere have a special status since 1979.
