Dillon County

Dillon County is a county in the F.S. state of Sierra. Located in south central Sierra, it has an area of 6233.6 km² and a population of 56,225. Dillon county was named after 19th-century settler Henry Dillon. Most of the ppulation is centered in and around the city of Dillon.


The city of Dillon is the most populous and largest town in Dillon County. Other settlements include Cable Creek and Fronteras.


Dillon County has historically tended to vote more conservative, but in the previous two elections has voted more for the left-wing candidates.
