The Federal Republic of Antharia is a central Ulethan country and member of the AN. Ever since the Medieval period, the area of today's Antharia is known to be a point where different cultures meet, including Eganian, Castellanese, Slevic, Garlian, Ispelian and Darcordian, as well as Gobrassian.

In the second half of the 19th century, Antharia started to build a new colonial empire, which has fallen apart in 1925, nevertheless there still are major Romanish communities around the Asperic Ocean. After 1925, about 20% of the Antharian population migrated to Western Uletha, Gobrassanya and Khaiwoon, the Federal States, Southern Archanta and Antarephia. According to recent studies, only 65% of Romanish speakers worldwide currently live in Antharia.

Antharia is a founding member of UAC and RomUnion (international organization representing regions and countries speaking Romanish) and plays a key role, both in regional and in international affairs.
