The Global Meteorological Organisation (GMO) is an intergovernmental organisation for meteorology (weather and climate), climate change and related geophysics. It is a specialised affiliated agency of the Assembly of Nations and is headquartered in Trevers, Paroy.
An important aspect of the GMO's work relates to the Intergovernmental Climate Panel, based in Gobras City, Gobrassanya which is the independent body for assessing the science related to climate change, cooperating with the Gobrassanya National Weather Service. The ICP was set up in 1985 by the Global Meteorological Organisation (GMO) to provide policymakers with regular assessments of the scientific basis of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation.
