Tournament Style

Each country sends a team of 3 to 4 players. The teams play each other in series of 5 games each. Best out of five games moves on to the next round. There are normally 4 "rounds":

  • Round 1- sixteen teams down to eight
  • Round 2- semifinals- eight teams down to four
  • Round 3- finals- four teams down to two
  • Final Championship Round- two teams battle for the title

If enough teams join, this changes from 4 rounds to 5 rounds, as the tournament would start off with 32 teams.
