Koescad, sometimes written Koessad, is the capital and the largest city of Flag of Auronia.png Auronia. It's located on the eastern shore of Auronia. It is home to 4.6 million people, with the population growing each year at a higher rate than the average on in Auronia. It is considered the connection between Auronia and the rest of the world.

History

Koescad was a fishing town like most of the cities near to the sea or by a bigger river. The first buildings, which are standing still even today, were built on the right bank of the Koescad River. It's population grew to 15,000 in 1707, and it become fortified for the safety and protection from invasions, becoming the largest city in Auronia, and was never overtaken after that.

When Ingerland started colonizing different regions, in 1967 Auronia was affected as well. In 1970 they defeated the natives, and took over Koescad. They forced the natives to live only inside their fortified part of the city. And to take control of them and disallow them to attack the colonizers, they constructed a fortification around the original native fortification. In 1899, when the natives throughout Auronia started revolting, they freed the natives from Koescad from the Ingerish. From independence of Auronia in 1900, to today, Koescad was constantly growing, as the by far most important city to Auronians.
