In 1970, Clearflow was founded in Vai by five Antarephian banks (BPV, Krédit Fenu, Hesperic Bank, Bank #4, Bank #5) as a clearing organisation whose objective was to minimise risk in the settlement of cross-border securities trading, particularly in the growing Anteraphian bonds market.

Clearflow settles domestic and international securities transactions, covering bonds, equities, derivatives and investment funds. Clearflow provides securities services to financial institutions located in more than XX countries. In addition to its role as an International Central Securities Depository (ICSD), Clearflow also acts as the Central Securities Depository (CSD) for Guaiian securities. Clearflow also owns ITXCo, the Guai's leading provider of investment-fund order routing. Clearflow is the largest international central securities depository in the world.

Retail investors are able to have direct accounts in local CSDs, according to local laws, rules and procedures.
