Mearh I of Wyster
Mearh I sie Soormeth (born 27 February 1921 at Fryhaec Castle, near Bocyme (county Orsearre), died 5 December 2017 in Hreawirc) was the King of Wyster from 8 August 1970 until his death, having ascended the throne following the death of his father.
Mearh was the only child of King Hrevyn III and Queen Rynne. At the time of his birth, Wyster was a republic which was about to engage in a six year civil war, following opposition against Chairman Peus Ghaarn's increasingly autocratic regime. At the end of the civil war, the monarchy was restored under Hrevyn III, who was a grandson of the previous king Hrevyn II, who ruled from 1859 to 1860 and again from 1895 to 1902. As his father became king, Mearh became crown prince.
Mearh married Soor Countess Meerwyth (1924 - 2008); they had two daughters, princess Atheanne (*1949) and princess Learre (*1955). When Mearh succeeded his father as King of Wyster in 1970, princess Atheanne became his heir apparent.
