Pasalboro Tobacco Company PBT is one of the largest Tobacco Company in the World. Founded by Phil Lewiston in 1842 it became increasingly popular with consumers, especially after the marketing campaign of Wild,Wild,World, starting in 1948 with its image of a manly protagonist. PBT is constantly subject to lawsuits that battle the company over the negative health effects of its products. PBT's revenue declined after the late 1990s as worldwide concern over the negative health impacts spread. With recent major negative publicity like the death of actor Andrew T. Walker or the partial ban of tobacco in Freedemia the global industry for such products keeps declining.
