Pike is the capital of Walkegan located in Schwartz County

Early History

Capital Boom

After (insert time period), the Government of Walkegan decided to relocate the Capitol from Hopkins to Pike. There were many problems with the city of Hopkins. One of the main problems was during the suburban boom. The road network in Hopkins was very out of date, it made traffic and getting around a problem. Furthermore, the capitol building that was in Hopkins exploded due to a gas leak. As a result of this the State of Walkegan moved its capital from Hopkins to Pike.

Before the capitol Moved, Pike was a town with around 6,000 citizens. After the capitol moved into town the number jumped to 100,000. Hopkins population went down from 400,000 to 285,000 because of the capital move.
