To the south to Redondo are only lower hills, at the east side of the province is the Sierra Grande with some of the higher mountains as the Cuerno Diabolo (Devils Horn) with 4 012 m. In the west the land goes flat over in the grand Llanura los Gauados. The waters of the southern part of the province flow in the Rio Saguset, from the northwestern part in the Rio Oriente.
