Raintree, in the constitution Raintree Mountains, is a region/province located in the extreme north-east of Commonia. It is located in the region of North Commonia, a region generally more wealthier than the rest of Commonia. It's bordered by Divnogorsk and Farend to the north, and by Katsnelson and Dilleland to the south.
The capital and seat of the region is the city of Acote, located on the eastern shore of the province. The region is believed to be one of the faster growing regions in Commonia, just because of Acote. Acote is the fastest growing city in Commonia and it's population grew about 350% in the last 5 years. The population of Raintree is about 14.9 million people, of which 38% live in the metro area of Acote.

Economy
It's economy is one of the greatest in Commonia. About 70% of the economy is based in Acote. Most of it's exports include cars, infrastructure materials and food. About 55% of the overall food produced in Raintree goes into exports in other parts of Commonia, as they lack in needed agricultural production. Raintree gets the second most rain in the nation and has the best soil in all of Commonia. Trees rather grow very fast, probably due to the fact that the Amnestica Commonica grows here which grows much faster under rainy areas. Those facts give the region it's name - Raintree.
Geography
The region is pretty flat in much of it's parts. There are hills in the south of Raintree. The highest peak is the Thurston Peak on Mount Thurston located west of Acote, with a height of 2001 meters. The regions has many wetlands and a lot of bays and estuaries.
Climate
The region, from it's name, get's a lot of rain, and has more favorable climate in comparison to other parts of Commonia. Much of it's south parts have savanna-based climate. The north is more temperate. Averagely, the temperature get's from 19 to 37 degrees celsius.
