The metro net

Yes. I think, it will not only look better, but is then a better configured net. In one I agree with you: Not ONE great tranfer-station in the centre, but a structure of more "greater" stations at important points of your town (the black junctions) --Histor (talk) 00:05, 18 April 2015 (CEST)

I mean it so: --Histor (talk) 00:12, 18 April 2015 (CEST) Pingsy.png

Hey, thanks for your input! First of all it's important to note that there isn't really one, relatively small and defined area that is significantly denser than the surroundings; normally, I would make all subway lines meet there at some kind of central train stations. That's one of the reason that for city scape purposes I didn't want one big metro transfer station, where for example the mentiones lines meet up. I instead tried to create more connections inbetween lines a bit further away from the geographical midpoint and spread out. However I like your idea of kinda "wrapping" the 4 lines around where now the black core line is. I will try to see if I can find a senseful way to do so, because it would reduce transfers and traveling time tremendeously, as you mentioned.Leowezy (talk) 23:42, 17 April 2015 (CEST)

Are you sure, that this a comfortable metronet for your people? The darkblue and lightblue have no connection and the yellow and purple. Why not connect this lines along the black lines? Looks good on a graphic, but in daily traffic it is not the best solution. --Histor (talk) 23:22, 17 April 2015 (CEST)
