I saw Niels20020 started a new weekly challenge, where users have to draw something related to a randomly chosen word. Last week's word was love, which is an amazing coincidence, because a) it's LGBT+ pride month, which means celebrating and loving all sexual and gender minorities, and b) the name of the town I've been working on the past week is Přeslav (if you replace the ř with an r, [press love]). I also decided to continue my tradition of sharing quasi-related obscure music videos, so have some Bastille. I had a lot to say (and shout) last week, so this post is going to be shorter.

Welcome to Přeslav

Here's my original drawing I posted on Twitter yesterday.

Přeslav is a town of roughly 18,500 inhabitants just a little west off Rabětín. It's only a ten minute car ride actually. The towns are very similar, almost the same size and population, the only difference is the historical lands.

The town used to be fortified, hence the ditch filled with water that goes around the large town center (hey, the military had to fit somewhere.) The city walls have been torn down in the 19th century though. There's also a castle/chateau and a monastery, both currently mapped as nodes. The industrial revolution brought a textile factory and sugar mills into town. The mills still operate, the textile plant does not and is the largest brownfield in the town. Přeslav is served by the Odrava - Krále Hora high-speed railway (part of the proposed TUTN-4 line) and by the D1 highway (Exit 25 in Rabětín, 12 km away.)

I've also noticed that I tend to draw homogeneous towns with no ethnic or religious minorities, so I decided to spice it up by placing a synagogue and a Jewish cemetery. Oh, also! Supermarket chains needed. I have a few favorites from the OGF:Int'l Business Listing page, but I'm not sure about placing them, since they don't have any locations even near north-central Uletha and I don't want to disrupt their market model. I was thinking I'd get All-n-One though, since it's in Karolia, which is pretty close already.

I'd almost forget! To add up to this whole Přes-LOVE thing, I placed a small fountain shaped like two crossed hearts on Mírové náměstí, Přeslav.

I'm hoping to add more detail to Přeslav's surroundings this week. Love you all!

Which one do you like better: Přeslav or Rabětín? What's your favorite supermarket? Is it enough, to be young and in love? Discuss and stay tuned for next week.

You're welcome to open All-n-One locations if you'd like! I will say that it's actually based out of Freedemia and the Karolian locations are actually branded under a different name (Kaikka-Ühësa, basically Karolian for All-n-One) but you're welcome to use either the original name All-n-One or if you want a name specialized for your country you can do that too. :) --Ernestpcosby (talk) 20:07, 12 June 2017 (CEST)

Cool! All-n-One would be hard to pronounce for Drabantians, so I figured I would use V1 ([vjednom] - in one). It's going to be about 50 locations across the country. --Eklas (talk) 15:25, 13 June 2017 (CEST)
Alrighty! Would you like me to go ahead and add that to the All-n-One wiki page? --Ernestpcosby (talk) 22:57, 13 June 2017 (CEST)
I think it could wait until there are some locations on the map. --Eklas (talk) 17:38, 14 June 2017 (CEST)
Alright --Ernestpcosby (talk) 20:42, 16 June 2017 (CEST)
