Luboš Medvedík (composer)

Luboš Martin Medvedík (1810-1893) was a Litvanian composer during the Romanticism period, from the 18th to 19th centuries. He was the first Litvanian composer to achieve worldwide recognition. Medvedík set a nationalist example for many composers to come, often employing traditional Litvanian folk dance and music rythms into his orchestral pieces.

He showed apt musical talent from an early age, taking violin and piano classes from Pavol Líderman, a popular composer at the time. In 1827, he played his first concert at a Loravian ball, which gained him popularity very quickly.

Western Drabantia Litvania is a small, irrelevant, and beautiful nation with nice mountains, forests, seas, volcanoes, calderas, rivers, lakes, and tars. It used to be married with Drabantia, as one country, but after years of unrest and domestic violence (also violence with strangers on the street) they decided to divorce. This happened in 1749, and since then Litvania has been enjoying years of misery and self-pity freedom and joy. It is inhabited by the Litvanians (Drabantians) who are generally a nice people, but can sometimes be obnoxious and massive a**holes after they get a tad too drunk on Slivovice.

The capital city is Lorava (Odrava), and according to most Loravians, it's also the capital of the Universe. However, most Litvanians outside of the city hate Loravians. Therefore, a tourist who only vists Loravia learns nothing about Litvania. Litvanian towns and cities are known for being ridiculously small. Loravia only has around 400,000 inhabitants. The smallest city has around 90,00.[1]

The Litvanians really like their 🍺. In fact, they like their 🍺 so much that they have over 500 breweries in the whole country. The annual 🍺 consumption is over thrice the worldwide average.[2] They used to brew for the Drabantians, but after the divorce they started brewing for the world.

Litvania is also rich in many great mountaintops, some almost 3000m high. This means people here are immune to cold, and altitude sickness. In winter, some of the inhabitants do not even wear sweaters. Legend says some go outside naked in temperatures of under -20° C.
