Antigoan is a Turquan language that originated in Antigo, where it remains widely spoken to this day. It was heavily influenced by Romantian, Turquese and other Slevic languages in the middle ages during Pretanic colonisation.
Standardised Antigoan, or simply Antigoan, is regarded by Antigo as the official, 'revolutionary' version of Antigoan. It is a controlled language created by the Antigoan government with restricted grammar and limited vocabulary, meant to limit the freedom of thought — personal identity, self-expression, free will — that threatens the ideology of the régime of the Briarmacks and Antigoan Socialism.
Claimed to be the so-called original version of what was ancient Antigoan, it was actually meant to meet the ideological needs of Antigoan Socialism. Most of the population has already adopted this new heavily revised version of Antigoan, that is in fact not much understood by their Antigoan counterparts in other parts of the world.
“The purpose of the New Antigoan language, as claimed by the Burkhanov regime, is to reduce nuances and words that have entered the Antigoan lexicon by their oppressors (i.e. Pretany and other colonial masters). In reality, however, it has done much more than that. The true purpose, in fact, is to make other modes of thought against the ideology impossible. In fact, certain vocabulary in the current revision still contains words that are derived from Kalmish or Pretanic vocabulary, kept as such for ideological purposes. For example, 'Sozialmerst' is derived from Kalmish and Latin translations of 'Socialism'. However, to counter such claims, new words have been formed, largely considered compound words, that still carry hints of the derived word. As such, 'Antigoan Socialism' in one early version was translated as 'Anterguz Sozialmerst', but now in recent revisions has been replaced by a new compound word 'Antsoz'.
The revised Antigoan language at the same time has also abolished words that link to the past, which is pretty ironic and against the claim that the language is to be reverted back to its original, or the pre-occupation times. Certain words, in fact, has changed or eliminated. For example, the words 'king', 'queen' and 'prince', a link to the past when Antigo was a monarchy, has largely been replaced by the word 'Prezsert', meaning 'leader'. An ironic note is that Prezsert comes from the Latin translation of leader Princeps. Nevertheless, using a word to blanket other terms have abolished such undesirable terms. All words grouping themselves round the concepts of other political systems, like capitalism and even communism, were contained in the single word Non-soz, a shortened form of non-socialism. In fact, Non means not, which also came from Latin. In conclusion, what the newly being constantly revised language of Antigo is more suited for ideological purposes, claiming to link to the past yet disregard the past at the same time. It has adopted such new introductions into the Antigoan lexicon as they still remain relevant to the ideology of AngSoc. In short, the Antigoan language spoken in Antigo remains a creole that has been transformed for ideological purposes.”
Old Antigoan, or often called Werkmannich (meaning Workers' language), is an unsanctioned form of Antigoan that remains spoken by the working class (i.e. Antigo's lingua Franca). It is often heavily discouraged in favour of Standardised Antigoan (see above). The language is often seen as the pre-revolutionary version of the language, retaining a significant level of Kalmish and Pretanic influences and has a much more extensive vocabulary that has been eliminated in Standard Antigoan.
Keitforisuian (meaning outsiders' language) is another form of Antigoan mainly spoken by the Antigoan diaspora. Depending on the country, Keitforisuian has certain variants in its vocabulary, largely influenced by their host country's language.
Below are samples of text from the Antigoan constitution in Ingerish translated into standardised version and Werkmannich

The Standard has shortened the original meaning to 'The Socialist Republic of Antigo is no longer under Pretanic rule', or if directly translated 'The Socialist Republic of Antigo (has) no Pretanic rule.'|

Often in official publications S.G. may also be used as well. Much of it is preserved as there is nothing in the sentence against the ideology.|

The version by then does not have the vocabulary to express the list of good values and bad values, and hence merely condensed the whole as such.|
