The province of Valle los Ciervos in Latina has the name from the deer, who live in the wide valley of the Rio Norte north of the Porta Ferra. This land til the 1870ies was land of indigene tribes, before it become part of the republic of Latina. First latinian expedition in this land was 1523, as Gomez y Parador with Femme des Oiseaux as translator explore the area.

Greatest town and capital is Applegarden with 321.532 inhabitants and Tentoten with 142.942 inhabitants.

Geography

The province is in north to south direction 300 km and west to east between 100 and 300 km. Like a backbone is the valley of the Rio Norte the important structure of the province. South of Applegarden the narrow of the Porta Ferra is the boundary of the vsalley, what was before 100 000 of years a great lake, before the Rio Norte dig his bed through the mountains
