Geology is the study the solid earth and it's development over time.

Geologic time scale

The following list summarises the major events and characteristics of the periods of time from newest to oldest. Mass extinctions are marked thus: (†).

    • Cenozoic Era - 0-66 MYA
      •      Qinulovanian Period - 0-2.5 MYA
      •      Nargizian Period - 2.5-23 MYA
      •      Papelan Period - 23-66 MYA
    • Mesozoic Era - 66-252 MYA

      •      Junaric Period - 145-201 MYA
