Yanim (mazanic يانيم /jeəˈniːm/), is the capital and most populous city of Gharbiya and the eyalet of Dunhei. The city is located on Gharbiya's eastern coast approximately 40 kilometres north of Reback in the Yanim valley and is surrounded by the Ajjar and Sisters mountains.

One of Gharbiya's oldest cities, evidence point to continuous habitation of the Yanim valley since in the very least 1000BCE
