The Beishan Metro (Meilanese: 北山轨道交通) is the main heavy and light-rail rapid transit network serving the city of Beishan, in Meilan. The system is operated by Beishan Underground Transit Authority (Meilanese: 北山地铁交通局). It currently has 5 lines in operation, and serves much of the urban area of Beishan.

Lines

  • Line 1, also known as the Chang'an Line, runs east-west from Heishan Avenue in the west to Haining Road in the east.
  • Line 2, also known as the Zhengzhong Line, runs mostly north-south from Juhuatai Road to Olympic Stadium. It serves Beishan Railway Station and Beishan South Railway Station.
  • Line 3, also known as the Changshou Line, runs north-south from East Youyi Road to Shouxi Lake.
  • Line 4, also known as the City Ring Line, is an orbital line that parallels the Inner Ring Road in Beishan.
  • Line 5, also known as the Government Line, connects Fushan Road and Cultural Center, running mostly north to south.
  • Line 6, also known as the Wukesong Line, connects Beishan Railway Station and Wukesong, running north from the city center to the suburb of Wukesong.
  • Line 7, also known as the Three Kingdoms Line, connects Anshan Square and Hefei Road, running mostly north to south.

Fares

  • Peak fare (Mon-Fri 7:00-9:30, 15:00-19:00): adult fare 3 shu, reduced fare 1.50 shu
  • Regular fare (all other times): adult fare 2 shu, reduced fare 1 shu
  • Reduced fare applies for those under 18 or over 60; children under 10 ride free when accompanied by paying rider.
