History
Firsts NW Uletha settlers
In 1502, the ship "Poutník 1", from Slavonia, reaches the current Slovech coast, seven years after ships from Florescenta landed in Alcântara, Luslandia. The slavonians settled this coast, but due to a strong economic crisis in NW Uletha, gradually Belgravia was almost abandoned.
In 1550, there was the second wave of settlers in Belgravia. This time, from Schwaldia. But these ones prefered create settlements along the Belgravia river, and not in the sea coast.
In 1570, during an expansion period, the luslandeses reached the old slavonian colony in Slovech, almost empty, and conquered the small city.
The Separation War
In 1722 began the War of Separation, by brasonian separatist villagers agains the central power in Luslandia.
Still under luslandese power, belgravians prefered to be neutral during the war, and the region received a lot of refugees, even luslandeses as brasonians.
In 1724 the war ended with the victory of brasonian separatists. The weakened central power in Luslandia had no way of keeping control over Belgravia, needing to use all its funds in re-building Luslandia. Brasonia, first because the separatist ideas, and also because the financial no-conditions to spread control over Belgravia, decided to include Belgravia in the Separation Treaty. This way, even not fighting the war, Belgravia got its independence in 1725.
Present days
Still there is a strong influence of schwaldian, slavonian, florescentian, latinian and brasonian culture in the country.

Culture
Despite the long period under luslandese power and also the brasonian and latinian influence, Belgravia looks like a NW Ulethan country and keeps its own culture and language.
Languages
The Brasonian dialect of Florescentian language was the official language of Belgravia and used in public buildings, but since 2000, the Belgravian language, spoken by 99% of the population, is the main one.
Religion
Belgravians are a religious people. Even the clearly non-practicants people use to say following some christic creed. But the religious influence is strongest in western Belgravia. Specially in Stockerau province, where all the cities and towns have a church as one of the main buildings in its downtowns.
Architeture
As mentioned, Belgravia keeps a northwestern ulethan architeture in its cities and towns. Even in newer or modernized big cities like Slovech or Markovburg, the local lines are easy to be found in the buildings.Music
In the smaller towns, there are popular bands playing folk music, but Belgravia is world wide known as the motherland to Industrial Metal. From Belgravia, mainly in the bigger urban areas, are some of the most famous bands, like Sternstein and Eisherz.
