Erilyn City is the capital city of Esthyra, built along the mouth of Erilyn River.
History
Erilyn City is not much settled until 1846, when the Esthyran government hired an Ingerish exploration team to set up a trade route along the Kaspen Sea. Erilyn City was initially a camp for explorers, but later developed into a settlement of Ingerish people. The nation of Erilyn (Covers roughly all of the nowaday Region of Erilyn) was set up, then merged into Esthyra in 1908.
From the early 20th century, the government was considering a new capital, as Abralona became unsuitable for government buildings. The decision of making Erilyn City capital was clear in 1930 following a public vote (Along with more power given to individual regions), and development efforts started in 1936.
