Great Southern island
Great Southern island (Granda Aŭstrainsulo in Aŭstro Language and Viru Geblennühhy in Semer language) is an island in the Harda Archipelago with circa 165,000 km² of extension, making it the second most biggest island in the Harda Archipelago, after Harda Island. It is sorounded by the Asperic Ocean at the north, Yamato Island and Harda Island at the northwest, the Hesperic Ocean at the west, Glacies Australis at the south and the Mahhalian Archipelago at the east.
The Island is mainly of volcanic origin and is occupied naturally by taiga forests at the northeast and tundra at the southwest. It is crossed by a mountain range from the north to the south, with important glaciers. The island is sorounded by another small islands, principally at the south, conforming groups of archipelagos and chains of islands.
The island is occupied by two countries, Semerol Junna-kta lau at the north and Aŭstrasuno Tero at the south. The total pupulation of the island is 12.3 million of people, being Aŭstrasuno Tero the most populated country, with Austraĉefurbo and Kroün as the main urban settlements.
