Hifnakia, or in Hifnakian; Hifnakien, officialy, Imperial Caliphate of Hifnakia, hf:Kalifatimperiet Hifnakien is a union of two countries, West Hifnakia (known officially as Central Hifnakia or just The Caliphate) and Eastern Hifnakia located in Uletha. It is primarily inhabited by Native Hifnakians. The Official national language is Hifnakian, a Gaermanic language. It is bordered by Uzkesh in the west, Ataraxia in the south, and Gelbham in the north.

The Name Hifnakia's history is unsure, but historians believe it was mentioned by the Imanis in the 700's as Mamlakat-ul Hafna al-Kaiyyani, The People with open and full hearts or souls.

Little is officially known about Hifnakia's antiquity, but some sources point out that some exact Uletarephian people lived there. Scholars calls these people Paleo-Hifnakian people, and researchers found some text they decoded. The Paleo-Hifnakians are said to have evolved their own language, and the language, the Retel Language, may probably have some ancestorial roots, or to an extent that it is based of this language. They currently reside in Southern Esthyra.

250 B.C to 0 A.D.

In 250 B.C. we can begin to confirm validity of sources. Here, the first Dionic migration begins from North East. They come then to reside on the first Dionic town in Hifnakia, Asochel, located on the tip of North-Eastern Hifnakia. However, this migration did not have significant or reasonable effect on the population of Hifnakia, merely, it was because of bad vegetation and droughts in the North East.

In 150 B.C., possibly a prophet and messenger but surely a patriarch, Idsel (Harabic:Iklis, Hebronic:Oklats) was sent to nowadays Ur'Ketz, or Arkash, to preach monotheism, at first, he was succesful, and according to tradition, God let him know the Torah without ever knowing it had existed. But when he died, people began to become pagans again.

In 50 B.C., the Paleo-Hifnakian language was replaced with a new language, sent by the orders of the loosely united Confederacy of Retel. This language was possibly a diono-pearsian language.

Already in the beginning of 0 A.D., pure Dionic towns begin to emerge in the Retel Mountains. One quote from a Hifnakian historian, Levinion, said: "There are towns big around the Great Mountains, but they do not speak the Familiar Language we talk. They do not preach the religion we Preach."

0 A.D. to 400 A.D. (Christic movements)

While the language was changed, the culture was switched to a pearsian like culture, because Chochime II, the Duke of now Køby didn't like the former culture. He went to embrace Dionism.

After approximately 80-130 years, a massive migration of Christicists flooded Hifnakia. They brought the Dionist culture and teachings about Jesus. One particular man, Enoaus, who in 200 A.D. lived, did absolutely not like the way the Christics behaved. According to history, he was persecuted for not believing in Jesus as God in three, and he fled to mount Hashem, now known as the Hill of Abu Khariya or the Hill of the Kings. He preached and preached until one day, people began believing him.

Christicism began to delete the polytheist Ancient Hifnakianism, tyrannicize it and kill the followers. Ultimately, around 350 A.D., Christicism was widespread making the First Christic Confederacy.

400 A.D. to 620 A.D. (Axian Empire)

Axian generals saw the opportunity to conquer the now known as Hifnakia. The Axian Empire invaded the Christic Land and declared that Christicism must be illegal. That was because the christics did not want to give money or any tax for that matter to the leaders. Unfortunately, they were met with fire and they destroyed and sacked whole cities. Then they rebuilt them, giving them a more uniform and precise build and excluding the Christics to live there.

Hifnakians were oppressed under the rule.

But around the 600s, the Axian Empire began to cripple, and the Christics and Dionists in collaboration destroyed the Axians, burning their houses, stealing their money and killing generals. Ultimately, the Axians lost the lands of Hifnakia while retaining parts of southern Retel.

620 A.D. to 780 A.D. (Union of States)

The Christics of the remaining of Kaspen Axia collaborated to create a confederation of districts and states. This was called the Christic Union of States or informally known as the 120 Districts and states.

It was filled with turmoil as which lord ruled and had rights over which territory.

In the 680-720, an influx of Imanis came and they filled up in all the states causing some states to prohibit Iman. This made the Imanis angry because they werent recognized as they were beginning to have a large population. The Revolution of Oholma was partially victorious but caused the Oholma State, which ecompasses modern day Aaholm to break in two, the Christic Oholma and the Imani Tarlust, before becoming Bondestad. The Emperor of the Union wrote the 1st Constitution providing Imanis with recognition but with limited rights, the Imanis did not accept and caused the Unitary War causing casualities and ultimately banning the practice, but 5 years later, an Imani Warlord staged a coup attempt and won making him the Supreme Emperor of the Union. There were two Imani emperors and after that the Christic warlords staged a coup attempt then winning making the Emperor again Christic.

But one man couldnt stop. He was Tamatobol, or Tam'atu Billah, a warlord feared among the governors and the emperor. He kickstarted a revolution winning and unifiying all states and districts, executing the governors and the emperor.

Hifnakian Revolution (Mosaic from 928 A.D.)

780 A.D. to 1051 A.D. (Rise of the Caliphate)

Tamatobol I forbade the pagan practices of the Hifnakians and he destroyed the Church of the Holy Filioque and transforming it into a mosque. He forbade all christic activity except Enoaic Christicism, which had been illegal for centuries. He expanded the empire until the Duchy of Uzkesh, where they negotiated a peaceful alliance. He died in 830 A.D. and one year later, his son, Tamatobol II took the throne. He declared himself as Caliph and that devastated the remnants of the Axian Empire. He conquered northern parts of Axia and installed a puppet leader in the Duchy of Uzkesh. Some of the leftover states of Axia united into the West Kaspen Union, then the Esthyran Empire. They became enemies but the Duchy of Uzkesh served as a buffer state. Tamatobol II died in 899.

1051 A.D. to 1500 A.D. (Golden Age of Hifnakia)

1500 A.D. to 1849 A.D. (Revolutionary Age)

1849 A.D. to 1929 A.D. (Democratic Age)

In 1848, Hifnakian Caliph Yuzkan VI and Dhariyyah ben Tar agreed to make create a new constitution, the Tingslov. This made democracy in Hifnakia after many many years of hereditary monarchy. There were orignally only two parties, the Sultanate Party and the Republicans. The Sultanate Party mostly succeded, and their goal was to keep the Sultan, or the Caliph intact in his position as official HOS. The Republicans were not satisfied, but then they split up because of turmoil. The turmoil was caused because one part did not want to make Hifnakia a republic, and the other wanted to. This caused a split creating the Hifnakian Nationalist Party and the Hifnakian New Republican Party. The Hifnakian New Republican Party slowly fell down in voters, and the Nationalists became a true opponent to the Sultanate Party. Slowly afterwards, a new party, the Democratic Party appeared. They wanted to make Hifnakia a liberal democracy with socialist values while retaining a monarch, just ceremonial. The Nationalists were not satisfied, while they agreed on what to do with the Sultan, they did not agree with their values, one side being conservative, another socialist.

The Sultanate Party got overthrown by the Democratic Party, but the Caliph could not let their law pass through. This made the voters feel oppressed and victimized and they moved onto the Nationalist Party because unemployment was skyrocketing because of the Democratic Party. This became a big challenge for the Caliph as he now was met with more intolerance than ever before.

One man in particular, Johannes Sebat, said that the Dionists, Christics and particullary the Uzkeshians had to bear all this. This made him boost in popularity, but after the 1925 elections, he lost with under majority of votes. Then he made a coup against the Hifnakian State ultimately winning with his National Fascist Party. He was also staunch opposer to Iman.

Population Density

The darker the color, the more dense

Most people reside in the cities, city suburbs and on the northern coasts of Hifnakia. Køby is the most dense of all, while around the great mountains, it is the least.

Most people are ethnic Hifnakians, but on the northwest, many Besniaks live there, and on the northeast, a mix of Harabiquese (Mazans) and Dionists are found, especially around Khanshour and Urketz. On the southwest and western parts, many Uzkeshians live there. On the southern parts, a mix of Dionists, Turquese and Pearsian people are found.

Most people in Hifnakia are Imanis, around 90-95% of the population. A survey conducted suggested that around 86% are very religious, and 98% follow the 5 commandments. 43% of the people were more radical on their views.

Around 3-6% are Christics, and most are Enoaic Christics. Trinitarianism is forbidden in Hifnakia as it is considered polytheism which is banned in Hifnakia. So most, if not all christics are non-trinitarian, and they openly state that they feel convinced that it is that way. A few percentage is also Richardian and Orthodox, but it is different from Richardianism and Orthodoxy outside Hifnakia.

Some percentage of the population is also Dionist, and Dionism has been in Hifnakia in more than 2000 years.
