The terms right-hand traffic and left-hand traffic refer to regulations requiring all bidirectional traffic, unless otherwise directed, to keep to the right or to the left side of the road, respectively.([1])
Please find below a list of countries depending on which side of the road or track traffic is kept:

- ↑ Trams in El Cabo, DS, run on the left. All other rail public transit runs on the right.
- ↑ While on most lines right-hand side driving is used, there are some (mostly single-tracked) sections/stations where trains (because of tradition, local track or platform layout, service patterns or a combination of the above) run on the left.
- ↑ See above
- ↑ In many cases with smaller trolleys or trams some transit may run on the left side of the road in some locations (ex. the Historic Downtown Quentinsburgh Trolley and James Street Trolley near Quentinsburgh Union Station) for convenience and stop location.
- ↑ When there is a single railway (especially in mountainous areas, thus most of the country) train may stop on an embankment and wait for another to pass. The situation is even more complicated in urban centers.
- ↑ While trains usually keep to the left in Paroy due to large Ingerish influence, there are many exceptions where trains keep to the right (especially in 'Franquese' states) or switch between right and left.
- ↑ Some Ataraxian rail lines were initially conceived to run on the left. All COFAX-operated lines converted to right-side operation for coherence with neighboring countries. TVM-operated metre-gauge rail retains left-side operations in the Great East region.
- ↑ While traffic in Belphenia primarily drives on the left due to Belphenian influence of the samurai of the Battle of Shirahoshi, there are exceptions where traffic in or around special cities drives on the right, unless otherwise traffic switches from right to left at traffic change-over areas.
- ↑ On most railways, trains drive on the right. However, for instance when more railway lines share the same bundle of tracks, trains may run on whichever side makes it the easiest to turn at the next junction.
- ↑ On my tracks, trains drive on the right. In the southern part of the country, however, some of the oldest tracks were originally conceived to have trains drive on left. At some junctions throughout the country, trains may run on whichever side provides the easiest turn.
- ↑ Even trough right-hand rail traffic is a national standard left-hand traffic is also allowed depending on conditions.
