Government of Deodeca

The Military of Deodeca is represented by the Deodecan Defence Force (DDF), responsible for the defence of Deodeca and protection of its national interests. It is comprised of the Royal Deodecan Army (RDA), Royal Deodecan Navy (RDN), Royal Deodecan Air Force (RDAF), and the Royal Deodecan Lake Guard (RDLG). The DDF has a strength of 50,000 full-time personnel and over 60,000 active reservist personnel, bringing its strength to a total of 110,000.

The DDF was initially formed as a colonial branch of the greater army of the Ingerish Empire. As the country grew more independent, the government formed the Deodecan Colonial Force (DCF) in 18XX. The four different branches were initially semi-independent forces that operated under their own chain-of-command. In 19XX, the government consolidated the forces under one office: the Deodecan Defence Force. Nowadays, the force is very integrated and operates under greater centralised command.

The DDF is very technologically advanced and is on par with most major military services, despite its comparatively small personnel number. Its technology sector has granted it influence as a major defence industry supplier and manufacturer.
