Before theocracy, on April 5, 2011, protesters, superheroes, and terrorists destroyed much of Remiville and its surrounding suburbs in a protest and dispute over an immediate ban on fictional characters in video game media depicting psychokinesis, resulting in more than 850,000,000,000 sapphire in damages, and almost all of Remiville was completely destroyed, with its surrounding areas like [[Indorur]], [[Gargatha]], [[Diamond Moon]], [[Mion]], and [[Soleanna]] succumbed to total destruction. The city and its surrounding suburbs suffered grave economic damage and largest loss of human, dragon, and mermaid life in the aftermath of the April 5, 2011 attacks on Belphenia. Weeks later, in response to the riots and attacks, the International Superhuman Abilities Guild and Council had to be formed to ban and enforce superhuman abilities among its residents. In July, content in television, radio, video game and printed media exhibiting psychic, magic, or similar abilities had to be banned by the Belphenia Radio and Telecommunications Guild and the government. The rebuilding of Remiville and its suburbs, rebuilt the old downtown area and created a new downtown area northeast from the original downtown area, new cities, towns, and villages, and a 4/05 memorial and museum, along with new Interstate highways and new infrastructure in a rapid rebuilding project launched by the [[Housing and Urban Development Council]] and the [[Workers' Party of Belphenia]]. The [[Remiville Expo Centre]], which opened on May 13th, 2007, was also severely damaged in the attack, and had to be demolished and rebuilt. The Remiville Sky Tower is the tallest structure in Belphenia by pinnacle height, which its spire reaches an iconic 2,007 feet (612.3 metres) in reference to Reiko Beard's founding of Belphenia.
