I've been thinking about how sports would work in the OGF world, coming up with this idea for Southern Archantan soccer to be under one confederation (much like on earth) with competitions and leagues. I've already gotten a couple of people on board with this, especially with owners of collab nations like Deodeca & Ardencia on board. The name will be COSAF which is the Confederation Of South Archantan Football.

== What it will do ==
What it'll do for countries involved is get a lot more sports related mapping, like stadiums or even team training grounds. The confederation would most likely not require a league, but I would assume the bigger countries would have leagues. It'll affect mapping a bit because of the addition of stadiums, I assume a lot of countries in South Archanta have stadiums of varying capacities, but some will have to be mapped.

Nations Cup (Nations League style competition), 
Continental Cup or the Cup of South Archanta (Euros/Gold Cup style competition),
Super Cup (Europa League style tournament.),
Champions Tourney (Champions League Style competition).

Hi, ParrotMan! As a passionate fan of football, as a brasilian, and also as an old OGF-user, I can say: the idea sounds good, but really dont work as you think. Years ago I wrote a very detailed OGF World Cup article about the edition played in my countries (Brasonia, Luslandia and old Belgravia/ now Novakia), detailing how players scored in each match, etc. Also years ago, when FSA project was a "trending topic", an user (I dont remember who) created a software to simulate scores, to several sports leagues in the country, including football (soccer). What all of us learn with it? It was only waste of time and data in the wiki, as things are always changing in OGF. Also, it lead us to the feared "overwikification". Repeating: I love football (soccer). It is a very important part in the wiki article of all my countries. And yes, I am also in South Archanta as Orange Coast state owner. Well, honestly? :I think at best though, for the few interested, to at least create their own soccer teams first and see if others would come on board. But I guess trying to come up with jersey designs and all might befuddle non-fans.
