This index contains information about the time zone of various territories.

Important technical notes to users
To include your territory on the map, please add the tagging directly to the territory's map relation on the map.
  • Use timezone=+hh for territories east of the central meridian, or timezone=-hh for territories to the west, to specify the zone in hh hours - this must be two digits
  • Half hour increments can also be specified , for example timezone=+08:30
  • Use timezone:name to specify the name for the zone (max 10 chars), timezone:dst (yes or no) if DST is used and timezone:note for any notes
Where a territory has more than one time zone a boundary=timezone relation can be used, however in this case the territory relation must not have any time zone information specified.
