Ingerish settlers did the same but due to declining numbers Deodecan bisons were placed under environmental protection in 1910. As a flagship species of Deodeca, they remain popular. Urbanisation and deforestation push bison into more hostile and unsuitable habitats, which is threatening their numbers. | ||
