Forum:Request help/Create a grid in JOSM or iD
Hi! I'm a relatively new mapper and I don't have too much experience creating grid layouts. Is there a faster/auto method of creating them in JOSM with a plugin or do you just make them by hand. I can do it by hand or using the parallel road tool, but I want to know how the veteran mappers do it in large gridded cities. Also, how do you get the grid to be the exact right size, from my knowledge there is no distance/length snapping in JOSM. Side-note, I have been approved for my own territory and I've renamed the actual relation and the name shows up along the borders but when you zoom to the large name it still says UL33g. And I'm not able to create wiki page or upload files, not sure how long I have to wait. Thank you! Leotherocketman (talk) 09:09, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
