Hello,

Now that I have been accepted into the new AN160 territory project, I am trying to hash out what the language of the state should canonically be.

The existing mapping was a mix of norweigan, swedish, spanish, and conlang. Which, if any of these make most sense for this area?

Option 1. Spanish Option 2. Spanish-inspired conlang Option 3. Norweigan/Swedish Option 4. Conlang with unused script in OGF

First of all, congrats on the territory! Exciting to see it finally claimed. Full disclaimer that I'm not involved in Antarephia at all, but it seems to me that you have a lot of leeway with what you language you want. There's Castellanese colonization nearby (San Juan de Castellan in Kofuku), and you could do a mix of Spanish and whatever native languages (perhaps conlangs) were present before colonization. Norwegian/Swedish (not sure what Norwegian is, but OGF:Swedish is Svennish) also works, as would English/French/etc in my opinion. It would also be cool to have a state that's primarily conlang. I think what matters the most is that you pick the option that will get you to be excited about mapping with it.
