Wouldn't it improve the exchange of embassies, if every territory owner who's interested in exchanging embassies defines a small district where every other country is allowed to place an (appropriate) embassy? In the case, e.g., that the capital city does not exist this zone can be used to collect embassies and move them later on by the territory owner to the best location.--Mstr (talk) (talk) 02:47, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

I think that should be an option for mappers if they like, although from a realism standpoint there aren't always embassy/consulate districts in capitals/cities. More guidance is always better from "host" countries, but otherwise mappers who declare their country to be "free to build" should be prepared for other mappers to put their diplomatic missions wherever if there's no additional guidance. --TheMayor (talk) 20:13, 17 January 2023 (UTC)

There would be a better overview if the countries are sorted according to their continent/region. In addition, the current mapping is office=diplomatic + diplomatic=embassy. And amenity=embassy should be replaced?--Mstr (talk) (talk) 23:14, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

I agree that the list should be better-sorted; we may want to consider making the list a sortable table to make it easier to navigate by several different fields. I can look into that later this week. --TheMayor (talk) 20:13, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
