View source for Forum:Request help/Is it ok to turn an island territory which I'll apply in future into the shape I want it to be?

So as the title says, I'm wondering that. Because I have a plan of an island country on my computer (not in the format of osm) and I wrote a lot of contents about history and geography of it... I want to make it more detailed in the form of ogf. That's important for me so I want to know if this way is feasible.
I see that in FAQ it says areas which were originally developed independently had been incorporated before, but my island doesn't have data in form of osm. I'm quite unsure now, please let me know if my plan is accepted in OGF.
