From OpenGeofiction

The author is a 43 year old from so-called Australia, pronouns he/him. Originally hailing from the cathedral city of Armidale, he is currently living 2 hours north of Canberra, the national capital.

He was born in June 1980, and moved to Grafton (Gumbin Gir) with his family before the age of one. After finishing school in 1998, he returned to Armidale to study at the University of New England. He suspended his studies in 2001, and pursued an abortive career in politics before being employed by the university in IT support. Completing his Advanced Diploma of Arts in 2019, today he is again studying, and is seeking a new career in life, having left the IT industry in July 2013.

Aside from geofiction, his interests include metal and hard rock music, railways, European culture and history, eurovision, gardening, birdwatching, diorama modelling, and popular entertainment.

He is pansexual (people hot!), his favourite holiday location is New Zealand, and is still mourning the loss of his beloved Maltese x Shih Tzu dogs who passed away in 2020 and 2023. He is an unrepentant anarchist and metalhead.

Trivia
