| So, I had suggested a few months ago that having a regional organisation among basically some or all of the territories that have UL11- in their name ;) or more formally the territories borderingt he firth of Hetzer, as these are located close to one another, have already mostly coherent mapping, which is a rare good thing on OGF, and preserving that cohesion by strengthening our collaboration would be pretty damn nice, and… well, it’s not because I’m setting up an international organisation that I should make a politician’s speech, but you get the idea. Anyway, people agreed it might be a good idea, then we forgot the whole thing, and now I’m getting back to it. The interesting thing would be to discuss what kind of international organisation we want it to be, and what would be its tasks. I had in mind something closer to the Benelux, or to the Nordic council, than to the EU, and the main point I see in it would be for cooperation in having common standards for goods, free trade, Erasmus-like student exchange thingies, linked power grids, etc. But I’ve no idea what are your opinions on the matter. More importantly, I have no idea if you’re at all interested in the whole idea, and, for all I know, I might be talking to myself ;)
